Join us at this year’s Summer Sing which will take place on Saturday August 22nd the Union Congregational Church in Peterborough (33 Concord Street).  We will be rehearsing and performing works by Mozart to celebrate his 270th birthday. Following the summer sing, we hold a Birthday Cake Reception!

PROGRAM:

• Placido È il Mar (Voyagers’ Chorus) from Idomeneo, K. 366

• Mass in C, K. 317

• “Finale” from Die Zauberflöte, K. 620                     

The full day schedule is as follows:

• 10:00 a.m. - Choristers arrive

• 10:30 a.m.-noon - Full chorus rehearsal  

• Noon -2:00 p.m. - Break for lunch on your own

• 2:00-3:30 p.m. - Rehearsal with organist and soloists

• 3:30 p.m. break

• 4:00 p.m. Open Sing - public invited to listen

• 4:45 p.m. Birthday Cake Reception
